German speaking guided tours: 11 a.m., 13 p.m. 15 p.m.

All tours take place with a maximum of fifteen participants. If the number of visitors is too high, the palace can only be visited with an audio guide.

Audio guides are available the subsequent languages:
English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Romanian and Russian. 

Sigmaringen castle will be closed on :
January 1st , January 7th – February 28th, Carnival Tuesday,
December 24th, 25th as well as 31st.

Access is only possible for vaccinated, recovered visitors with an additional negative test certificate.

Exceptions for test certificate:

  • Children younger than 7 years
  • Students until the age of 17.(not during holidays)
  • Refresher (Booster) vaccinated persons.
  • Vaccinated person, whose 2. vaccination is not older than 3 months
  • Recovered persons, whose infection is not longer than 3 months ago.

Exceptions for vaccinated or recoverd certificate, but test mandatory:

  • Children and students until the age of 17. (until 31.January 2022)
  • Pregnant women (until 10. Dezember 2021)
  • Persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons (medical proof required).

A mask is generally required in the palace. All guests are asked to disinfect their hands before entering and to adhere to the genearlly applicable distance rules.

Hohenzollern Palace is a historical monument atop a steep slope and so may present major access inconveniences for people with difficulties. 

Unfortunately, due to conservation concern and the nature of exhibits on display, we do not allow animals to enter Hohenzollern Palace. Nevertheless, dog bowls are available at the cash desk.

German speaking guided tours start every hour. Booklets with detailed foreign speaking information on each topic, explained by your tour guide, are available in the subsequent languages:
English, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Romanian, Polish, Russian.
Individual foreign language tours are available (GB/US, FR, NL, & IT) though subject to prior booking.

Het Slot van Hohenzollern is een historisch monument gelegen op een helling, op grond hiervan kunnen moeilijkheden ontstaan voor mensen met beperking op weg naar de ingang.
De rondleidingen vinden in het Duits dagelijks plaats per 30 minuten. Brochures met de inhoud van de rondleiding zijn beschikbaar in de volgende talen: Nederlands, Engels, Frans, Italiaans, Portugees, Spaans, Roemeens, Russisch
Graag bieden wij u ook een rondleiding in een andere taal aan (Nederlands, Engels, Frans, Italiaans) en vragen u vriendelijk, om deze van tevoren te reserveren.
